Los Angeles authorities in standoff with carjacking suspect amid reports of link to deputy ambush

Authorities on Tuesday said it's important to apprehend a suspected armed carjacker in the midst of a standoff with Los Angeles-area authorities to see if he is connected to the shooting of two sheriff's deputies over the weekend, according to media reports.
